How to Apply for the Teach 2050 Fellowship - Individual Registrations

If you are an in-service educator or education leader looking to drive positive change in your school or community, we encourage you to apply to the Teach 2050 Fellowship.

Fill out the application form and submit a video.

Fill out the online application form and submit a 2-5 minute video as part of the application process. The application form will ask for basic personal and professional information and your educational background and teaching experience. Make sure to record the video in a well-lit and quiet location.

Complete the CEFR Proficiency Test

Given that we have participants from around the world, B2-Level knowledge of English or the designated Fellowship Language is a prerequisite. As a part of your application, you are required to complete an English Language Proficiency Test.

Complete the Pre-Orientation Course

Complete the self-paced pre-orientation course, which will provide an overview of the fellowship and help prepare you for the next steps in the selection process.

Interview

Participate in an interview with the Teach 2050 Fellowship selection team.

Credential Submission

Upon clearing the interview, you will be required to provide evidence of your educational qualifications, teaching experience, and a no-objection certificate from your current employer, if applicable.

Onboarding Week

If accepted into the fellowship, you will participate in a week-long orientation and induction program to prepare you for the fellowship program. This will include orientation to the fellowship curriculum and support for setting up any necessary technology and resources for the program.

How to Apply for the Teach 2050 Fellowship - Institutional Registrations

Suppose you are a school or educational institution looking to support your in-service educators or education leaders in driving positive organizational change. In that case, we encourage you to apply for institutional registration for the Teach 2050 Fellowship.

Institutions interested in sending their educators to participate in the Teach 2050 Fellowship are required to fill out an application form. The application form will ask for basic information about the institution and the number of educators the institution is looking to send to the fellowship.

Participating educators from selected institutions must complete a pre-orientation course before moving to Step 3 of the Application. This pre-orientation course will provide a brief outline and an introduction to the aspects of the fellowship and will help prepare institutions for the next steps in the selection process.

The Teach 2050 Fellowship selection team will review institutional applications. Upon review, selected institutions will be required to participate in a consultation meeting with the selection team to discuss their goals for participating in the fellowship program and their plans for implementing the program within their institution.

Upon acceptance into the fellowship, participating educators will participate in a week-long orientation and induction program to prepare them for the fellowship program.
